The specific training objectives of the Network are:
(a) To provide and exchange high level knowledge about plasma flows and star formation in active European institutes
(b) To give high quality training in the opening fields of high angular and spectral resolution observations, nonlinear analytical methods, experimental techniques, GRID computation technology, and to train the young researchers to the best use of new generation instrumentation (VLTI, ALMA, LBT, HERSCHEL)
(c) To train early stage and experienced researchers in the field of communication and presentation skills with modern multimedia techniques, in the recognition of ethical/gender/intellectual property issues, and in the development and planning of their careers.
The JETSET Research Training Network will provide interdisciplinary training and knowledge transfer of high quality by capitalizing on the training and transfer activities of all the partners. Of central importance to our network will be an active and comprehensive training programme that will take advantage, be based and rely on the strengths of each individual participating team. |
